System Replacement Recommendations
Generally, most of our client have outdated Halon or CO2 suppression systems; the older type systems when discharged can create more damage by discharging the engine space with a powder that fouls the filters and more often than not penetrates the engine itself; in such cases once the fire is out, and the vessel has been recovered the engine has to be re-built.
